Wiltshire

This Manor House garden between the Vale of Pewsey and Salisbury Plain was devised to make the most out of the site, with a flourishing wildflower meadow, natural swimming pond, woodland walk, croquet lawn, formal driveway and rose garden as well as a fully refurbished walled garden that now houses a beautiful glasshouse, indoor swimming pool and productive garden that provides the house with food and cut flowers year round. The design of the garden was a response to the client’s desire to create the feeling of an estate garden, with looping routes that hide both neighbours and nearby roadways. The design was a collaboration with Todd Longstaffe-Gowan, the restoration of the house was carried out by Abbie Whitehead Architects and the garden build was done with immaculate precision by Johnstone Landscapes.
